I have seen them tip toe around all the questions that make them uncomfortable. Why is that? Are they afraid that they don't know how to answer the questions? Do they feel like they are too good to answer questions that make them vulnerable?

America needs a President who will tackle the issues when they present themselves. If these candidates are not even willing to answer tough questions now, what will they do when America's vitality is in question?

They are too busy, being politically correct, and we need more much more, from our President. We need to feel confident that he/she, will tackle the tough issues, and if they are reluctant on this level, what's going to happen if by chance, one of them makes it to the White House? It's a legitimate, question. Nevertheless, I am hopeful.

Unfortunately, the sound bite has defined presidential politics forever. All the candidates are worried about saying that ONE thing that will be played over and over on network televison.

Good luck to you.

Play closer attention to Joe Biden. 34 years in the Senate has taught this man plenty. He is a straight talker and answers questions without first "rephrasing" or "framing" them, like Hillary and Obama.

I know, as things stand now I'm thinking I'll vote for Ron Paul. NONE of the mainstream candidates are saying much of anything and they ALL have taken large sums of money from special interest groups. (pharmaceutical companies, oil companies etc.)

Frankly I'm sick of them.

I don't know if I am even going to vote for these clowns. The only Democrat I am liking right now is Nanci Pelosi. But your right. They are getting these pre written watered down questions.

Most of them have scripted answers to scripted questions. I would love to see a knock-down drag out, no holds barred, down and dirty debate with both sides.

Most of the candidates have no idea how they can fix the problems, but I'm sure they have their own agenda they wish to initiate.

As far as I am concerned ALL presidential hopefuls either skirt the questions or lie like dogs, irregardless of party.

They're politicians.

Are you suggesting that Republicans are more forthcoming?

Judge actions, not words.
