Who Would Like To See The World Series Go Between The Detroit Tigers And The Chicago Cubs ? This Year ? Are The Red Soxs Against The Chicago Cubs ? Are The Chicago White Soxs Against The Chicago Cubs ?

The Cubs and Tigers or Red Sox and Cubs would be an interesting series and would generate some fan interest. However, you can forget about the White Sox, they are not going to make it.

The cubs and tigers sound like a better matchup. Common Georgie, I think the Cubs have a shot if they make it to the world series. I'm a Cub fan but the Tigers and Red Sox are on my top 5 favorite teams list because I respect the effort they put on the field.

I would hate to see the Cubs and Tigers in the WS. Mostley because the last time the Cubs were in the WS they were beaten by the Tigers

as a tigers fan i really dont care who we beat up in the world series
cubs are ok but they still arent ready for world series
i see the team winning the nl either atlanta or the mets not many other good teams out there
yankees have no shot of making playoffs

The Tigers would win in '07 & '08 (2000, of course).

Why no mention of the Milwaukee Brewers?? I would love to see a couple of small market teams go at it. Not to mention a couple of teams from the same region in the mid west.
