I would take LT. He can score points so many ways. Rushing, passing, and receiving. Manning is nice but, I wouldn't take him with the first pick. If you want a QB that badly, take Palmer or Brady with your second pick. Good luck.

No brainer here.. LT BABY!!! Not only does he dominate the ground game, but he's also used a lot in the passing game.. Manning is the best QB fantasy-wise, but you just can't say not to LT... Plus, LT is a great piece to build your team around... If I were you, I would take LT 1st round, then take a WR 2nd round, like steve smith, chad johnson, or marvin harrison... then possibly go for another RB in the 3rd round.

Well, I've had many fantasy football drafts. I can tell you that RB's go real fast in all the leagues I've been in. LT would be the ideal pick for #1 pick. His numbers will be down most likely after last year, but still they will be pretty good. Peyton would be fine too. His numbers may go down slightly, but not a whole lot.
However, You have several RB's that are projected to go in late 2nd round if you decide to take Peyton with 1st overall pick. The RB's that have been going in the drafts I've been in up to your 2nd pick if you take Peyton are as follows and not in any particular order either. Steven Jackson,Thomas Jones, Frank Gore, Larry Johnson, Willie Parker, Shaun Alexander, Rudi Johnson, Edgerrin James, and Maurice Jones Drew with several WR's going and a couple of QB's as well. Tom Brady has either gone in late 1st Rd or early 2nd Rd in drafts I've been in. Just be careful who you take cause it's a long time before you pick for 2nd Rd. I'd take a RB if I was in your position. LT or Jackson would be my pick.
Good luck with your draft !

Definately Manning, LT is a great back but Peyton gets tons of yardage and touchdowns. Plus there's a pretty good chance LT wont have as good a year this time around

Get the guy who gets you the most points. LT was the most dominant guy in the last three years. He just keeps proving his worth every season. According to Vegas odds, his team has the best chance of winning the superbowl this year. He gives you great rushing points and doubles as a receiver.

For me, it got to be LT, coz I love the chargers. Last year I took him on the 7th pick of round 1 (while others went QB crazy, even one manager took a defense in the 1st round!!!!!), I basically lead all to th end.

manning
LT is good but everyone will have his number this year and no way he's breaking his own record.
QB touches the ball on every play, last year manning carried me through the playoffs with a very bad team. i had a lot of crap starters early on and a lot of injuries so my draft was horrible accept for manning. (we are talking about peyton not eli right?)
