According to the user manual on Dell's site, the Dell Inspiron 510m has two 2.5V DDR SDRAM slots, each supporting 128MB-1GB of memory for a total of 128MB - 2GB memory.
The minimum speed requirement is 266 MHz. It doesn't say what the standard supplied memory frequency is, but I expect it would be 266 MHz or 333 MHz.
