People who said what goes on March 8, shame on ya! It's women's international day. But, why are u asking this question for, u have the rest of the year, except march 8, lol

In 1932 The USSR initiated the First "International Women's Day". It was a Communist idea that was spread around the World. Ask any 'good' Feminist, They will know the history of the entire movement.
For some rather strange reason, May 5th is being promoted as "International Men's 'Drinking Day'". You figure that one out.

It is International Women's Day (IWD)
it is a celebration of economic, political, and social achievments for women.
Today It is only celebrated in certain countries and it is observed by men giving the women in their lives - mothers, wives, girlfriends, colleagues, etc., flowers and small gifts.

actually... we do have 5 may... but this is only in my country... here in romania a beer company gathered more that 500.000 signatures to declare the day of the man on 5th may :)
