I will THANK Buddha for showing me a wonderful way of living. No one can hurt me, no one can give me pain, anger, jealous, hatred, envy, no one can still from me. That is heavenly feeling. Doesn't it? What else should be there if at all heaven is there. To an ordinary lay man heaven is something what he will ask god, if he ever meets him. But to me if I can not make my life happy here, what guarantee is there that I will live happy there? Let us make our life happy by letting others live happily, in turn they will make us live happily. This is what is Buddha's and Mahavira's advise for human kind. LET US THANK BOTH BUDDHA AND MAHAVIRA.

In the words of Yasunari Kawabata:

"If you meet a Buddha, kill him."
This is a well-known Zen motto. If Buddhism is divided generally into the sects that believe in salvation by faith and those that believe in salvation by one's own efforts, then of course there must be such violent utterances in Zen, which insists upon salvation by one's own efforts.

IN ADDITION: I find it disheartening that people would give me "thumbs down;" such people have probably a limited understanding (for lack of a better term) of buddhism. I also wonder if the question suggests the multiplicity of buddha since the question asker writes "buddha" rather than "Buddha." Too many of the uninformed think buddha is a "Christ-like" figure, but such a conceptualization is blatantly inaccurate.

There was once a quiz between Jesus and Buddha to settle out who has more brains. Without fail, they answered each other question promptly. It has been going on for a long long time and still there is no clear winner. Finally Jesus ask Buddha this question: Which one came first, the Chicken or the Egg? At that point of time, Buddha excuse himself to take a leak. Have not hear from him ever since.....................

I will ask him to tell me some ways to have a peace of mind. I will ask him to become my Guru, and teach me the ways to lead a satisfied life. I would love to learn how to ignore the whole world and sit under a tree and introspect, instead. ; to get enlightenment, and light!
I will be very happy to meet him. Wish i could meet him.

I would ask him to lead us to world peace....... just to see what he says, since I have my doubts whether even he can take up and successfully perform such an impossible task, but he must be the last straw of hope!

I would ask him if the Buddhism that is taught today bares any resemblance to what he was teaching 2500 years ago!
