My cat loves doner kebab meat, but it has to have the spicy sauce on it!!! She'll lick off the sauce first, then eat the meat.....if you give her kebab without the sauce she won't touch it!!...........she also eats cheese (proper cheese, not the slices) if it's grated or cut into tiny cubes.......
Obviously I only allow her to eat very small amounts of these and only very occasionally.........it's Go-Cat, Whiskas or Felix the rest of the time.........

In the past, my cats have surprised me with some of the choices they have made. But I think that the strangest choice was a very garlicky and spicy Guacamole! Marmite was another surprising choice, but I have since met LOADS of cats who like it - maybe because it is salty?
I have always been very careful to make sure my cats know the difference between my food and their food. Mine is on the table/counter/higher up while theirs is on the floor. Only one of my cats has ever tried to be a food thief and that is only when I have shrimp - whenever i have it, she will try to push the plate off the table so that she doesn't break the rules! It is quite funny to watch.... I almost always feed my cats just before I eat so that we sort of eat together. They don't bother me for my food so much this way either.
When I have finished eating, I usually let the cats have a sniff of what i have eaten if there is something that they will like as a little extra treat - like a shrimp or two broken up into smaller pieces. Again, if they know they will get something later, they don't bother me while I am eating.
Irregardless of the actual contents of a can, the sound of my tin opener is guaranteed to bring the whole gang running in eager anticipation of food! One or two neighbourhood cats often join in - I guess it is a part of the universal language of cats because this used to happen in Belfast too when i lived there!

We have three dogs, a yorkie, a yorkie x jack and one who was described as a jack by the 'breeder' but actually looks like a fat pincher x jack! Such a handsome boy. he's besotted by polo's! Will tear your clothes if you've got them in your pocket, rip's my shopping bags open to get at them and goes down my friends handbags to see if theres any in there! He'll do absolutely anything for a spearmint polo, the sugar free are no good ha ha. They all love raw carrots, i buy a bag a week just for them, plus raw broccoli ( mainly the stem ), tinned sardines in tomato sauce, tinned hot dogs, cooked cauliflower and parsnips, yoghurt and unbelievably, the little pincher x loves sour sweets! He's mad about sweet milk bottles as well.

My dalmatian likes to eat guinea pig droppings. I used to stop her from doing this but someone told me that they are actually really healthy for dogs... so I let her. : )
My guinea pig likes yoghurt (I know this is not recommended) she has a bit every now and again. I don't feed her a lot but she just likes the taste I think. A small amount doesn't hurt.
I have lined my guinea pigs' cage with Linoleum (the stuff kitchen floors are made out of) and my guinea pigs have eaten some of that. I don't know if it is an attempt to escape or they were just hungry! Guinea pigs are always hungry.
Sorry to pig lovers... but my dog also loves pigs ears. They are sold in petshops as a treat for dogs though so I guess that is pretty normal.

My budgie, Albie (she is a girl, Albino) has to test most of my food before I get a taste!!! She particularly likes pizza but I think the funniest was when she flew straight into bangers and mash and had a brown stain down her chin!. I also had to get jam off her head once from my jam pudding! What a monkey she is.
The problem is, if I dont let her have a taste, she goes and eats the petals from any flowers (or the wallpaper), flies onto my shoulder and then pukes on me!!! She loves me really haha:-)

Have a 3 legged deaf cat - stray so history unknown, who only eats dried cat food (must contain vegetables, though) but likes the following : Maltezers, chocolate, popcorn, salted peanuts, crisps, cheese, peas, sweetcorn, broccoli and some biscuits - especially Digestive and Rich Tea. We have to make sure the above items are kept in lidded containers!
