I would say place the bulk of your money on an AmEx card and keep your debit card with you - so that you can charge your meals and keep a large amount of money in safe keeping. However, you want to keep a decent amount of cash with you - say a few hundred ( ~$200) if you are gambling or planning on doing things that require cash. The ATM and credit card machines in vegas charge a lot and always assess a fee for pulling cash. Plus if you stay on the strip and dont stray in dangerous corners - there is enough security and people that you should be safe with just $200. The cash with give you freedom to do what you want when you want to. Good luck, have fun, and hope this helps.

I usually bring a fair amount of cash, if you plan on using cabs, you'll need it! Break it into small bills as you'll need to tip people & cabbies dont give change. If you're not gonna use cabs or tip the bellboys, etc you may not need so much cash. Remember too that cash is easier for gambeling $ as well!
I would do the credit card/debit card thing for food, any show or tours you do though so you aren't carrying ridiculous amounts of cash.
There are ATMs everywhere, just be responsible and set a limit on what you can afford to draw out before you go--and expect $2.50-$4 in withdraw fees--plan your withdraws accordingly.
In general, keep the cash ot of sight & keep an eye on your wallet/purse & you should be fine.

Cash - keep a small amount on you - only what you need for the day. American Tourister makes a very nice "money belt", that goes under your clothing. You can wear it even with tight shorts on and no one will notice. This is what I use to carry "extra" cash for the day. It's a very comfortable cotton, and uses velcro & a zipper for security.
http://www.americantourister.com >"accessories" $6.95 they only have it in black, I prefer the beige -
Keep some cash in the in room safe - or safe deposit boxes available(usually at the main cashiers cage)
Travelers Checks
Check - Many LV hotel/casinos will cash personal checks for $200-$500 - You can fill out a credit application for a higher limit, you can do this before you leave home with some hotels.
Bank of America - If you have a branch in your city, open a free account there and use one of the 5 BOA branch offices in LV to do your banking.
ATM fees can get expensive

in my opinion, i think of four days in Vegas is far to long except while you're loaded with $$. I went for 4days some years in the past and that i became into waiting to depart after 3 days. you will roll via $$ quickly notwithstanding in case you do not gamble. yet once you relatively should have a blast for all 4 days you ought to attempt to deliver $800 or so.

The quickest, easiest, safest way is to bring an ATM card. Decide what you will withdraw for the vacation and only withdraw that amount.
