A Draw is a Draw, and a few years from now, newly inducted fans of the game won't know the difference! All that will remain are the figures of statisticians! Forget the 1st test, talk of the next match, which India will win! (it may rain again, and weather may win the series 2-0!)

Though first test was officially considered as a draw, the factual position is that England was deprived of a certain win due to bad weather and India escaped certain defeat.

Are you joking? Of course it was a draw. England had the opportunity to declare earlier or to bowl their overs more quickly. They didn't give themselves the best chance to win, and they paid the price. Anyone who whines on about how England were robbed by the weather is kidding themselves, and has apparently forgotten the amount of rain that fell on the preceding days. You didn't need to be clairvoyant to imagine that you wouldn't get a full day's play on the last day.
