I'm suprised a lot of Indian people. It's great. I'd have a firing squad waiting for those rejects if it was up to me.

I enjoy watching the show. By the time those perpetrators are on camera, at least one crime (soliciation of a minor) had already occurred. I enjoy seeing their reactions and enjoy watching justice being served.

There was one case in Murphy, Texas that was very unique. The Assistant District Attorney for a neighboring area solicited the decoy online but did not show up at the house. When police went to serve a search warrant, the perpetrator shot and killed himself. Many from the community screamed injustice about it, but he placed himself in that situation. The citizens in that case were outraged that Dateline would lure those predators into their neighborhood; however, the predators are already stalking their streets. People cannot hide behind their white picket fences and pretend that evil people are not out there. Who knows how many victims were already abused in Murphy before Dateline came.

Dateline helps keep children safe by causing doubt in the minds of the perpetrators, and by taking dozens upon dozens upon dozens of them off the streets. Besides, the real investigations were done by the Police as the crimes unfolded. Dateline made that clear that as they did their investigation, the Police were doing their own, which made the arrests and prosecutions legal.

I really like the show. I like the reports they are doing and the fact local police are willing to work with Dateline NBC and Perverted Justice to bring these guys in. It always makes me laugh when they say "This is my first time", but they are walking into the house like they own the place.

Initially, one would think it would violate the right against entrapment. But, the way they do it, on the screen anyways, you can't use that argument due to the high court's rulings on entrapment. Unfortunately, there are people out there that are dangerous. A lot of effort has been made by the media to play this up. The public even believes everything that the media has told them, concerning recidivism, etc. There may be more to this than we are led to believe, I think. If it is true that predators are very sick and that we have a lot of them on registries, why aren't we hearing of hundreds, or even thousands, of attacks every day. I think there is more to this than meets the eye.......

I think anything that catches and exposes these vermin for all the world to see is perfectly fine. Slimy, vile perverts!
