Apparently that's the media's opinion. It's the same group of people who believe that "perception is reality." What ever happened to the pursuit of truth, beauty, and justice?

I would say that for MY vote the answer is no. Sometimes the best person for the job is a real jerk. What matters is the platform of views and how closely they match my own. I want a president who will protect the Constitution, not tap dance on it or use it for toilet paper like Bush does. I also don't particularly think that "experience" in politics is that hot of a recommendation either. Too many of our politicians are thieves, liars and scoundrels. I'd prefer a decent human being to a practiced liar and backstabbing thief.

I'm sure you're referring to Obama and Giuliani. It doesn't equal, but a President with no charisma can't lead our country very far.

Absolutely, as much as it should not.
Clinton was a good leader who connected with the people.
President Bush has proven himself incompetent and has lost our trust, even though he won both elections because compared to Gore and Kerry he was the guy people'd most prefer to "have a beer with."
I hesitate to say now that most in this country would prefer to have that beer with Al Gore...
...whose presidency would have marked the date 9.11.01 as just another day, and not the foundation of his popularity and power.
HILLARY WILL BE ELECTED BECAUSE
We want Bill back in the White House.

No, but it matters and don't ever let anyone tell you it doesn't. However, I do think it sort of slipped out the door a little when Nixon was elected. He had the personality of a rock.
