If not real the real Noah's Ark, then why is it there?
Out of all these discoveries, only one really matters and takes
center stage; that is the absolute "bomb" that via ELS (Bible
Code) the words "Jesus is my Name" is found clustered within the
small relevant Isaiah 53 passage:
"He was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our

iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with

his stripes we are healed"

Hmmm . . . your question doesn't make a whole lot of sense to address to evolutionists. Also, some Christians believe in evolution. I have given up on religion after a few years as a radical Christian, but toward the end I realized that I had made a grave error by denying that evolution is real.

Please, do yourself a favor and read all the arguments from the opposition with an open mind. Don't consider them your opposition either . . . that will cloud your thinking. Really consider the ideas of both sides and the fact that you could be wrong. They aren't arguing against creationism because they are guided by evil . . . they are doing it because of what they know to be true and what they suspect to be true based on what they know. We haven't seen a shred of evidence supporting creationism . . . only speculation and (dare I say) myths. The burden of proof is on the person making the claim in any argument, and creationists cannot offer a shred of solid proof to support their claim. They rely instead on wild speculation and unproven theories to back up their claims. It's just a phase some people have to go through and some people never outgrow. Good night!

Labgirl, That's not a bad argument, pretty good really. But, probably the best evidence against the noahian flood story is Egyptian history and monuments with writing that date them positively. Egyptian history is archeologically verifiable before and after the flood, and with an unbroken succession of pharohs and queens. If in fact there was a flood, and all the Eqgyptians were wiped out, how is it that the new people from the Ark could have taken over Egypt so quickly (within less then 20 years), constructed monuments, learned and inscripted them with the same pre-flood language on those monuments, and with an unbroken succession of Pharoahs ? (Yet, nowhere in the Egyptian inscriptions, before , during and after the flood do they ever mention it. Now that's just amazing, isn't it ?

When will these religious nuts address their rants in the proper forum? This is the Earth Sciences & Geology Forum, not the Mesopotamian Mythology Forum. The story of Gilgamesh's Flood has no place in science.

Well 700 years before Jesus' coming it was prophecized by Isiah and he , Jesus Christ of Nazareth, read that verse in the synagogue of his town where he was rejected.

Ahh, its a very normal, extremely common, metamorphic rock (slate - schist) outcrop. I have another one in my backyard. Funny about the poor pictures and total lack of scientific study.
