Ask stupid questions.
Marvel at how your hand will move exactly when you tell it to.
Wonder why.
Spend a long time thinking on it, more than a week.
Come up with a conclusion.

Move on to another topic, 'What if Beelzebub is out to get me?'
..and so on.

It's not widely accepted as a great way to gain knowledge,
But at least you're thinking for yourself, not reading other people's thoughts.

That, is what knowledge is about.

The answer is simple. To attain "knowledge", one must simply understand the very question that he/she is posing. Knowledge is defined as: acquaintance with facts, truths, or principles, as from study or investigation... So in essance, the real question you need to ask is not how can I get more knowledge, but rather how can I acquaint myself with facts and truths. More directly, how can I acquaint myself with the principles of knowledge? The answer: Live life. All the experience and knowledge you will ever need to know will be put before you in one way or another, all you have to do is experience it. Want to know more? Read my blog on myspace - www.myspace.com/jeesethetacoking, it will be under my blogs section. you'll know which one ;)

While one of the previous answerers put "reading" which I agree with, it is an incomplete answer.

To know something, one must begin by reading and listening (sometimes speakers increase our knowledge and we needn't read, if we actively listen). The second step, however, is to write and/or speak. It is through trying to teach another what we think we know that we determine if we really do get it. It is quite easy to say, "Oh, I understand that" than to actually produce something with it--e.g., an essay or a conversation about it. The more you can demonstrate that you know through teaching it, the more you actually do know. That is the trick, and it is quite a difficult one at times.

Live life! Experience is the best way to gain more knowledge which is not being taught in a formal way. ASK questions. Participate. Involvement. It is not always on the answers that we receive but also on the questions that we ask.

I don't know. I only know the key to knowledge is curiosity. If you're curious about everything that's all you need. Today i was wondering why roaches never run into anything; If i'm ever on Millionare and they have a roach question, I'll have the answer.

Only one way, really. By reading. You can take a class, but they will just give you stuff to read there, so you might as well read on your own. All the best thoughts anyone ever had are in books.

And if there's anything specific you want to know, there's always Yahoo Answers.

Read everything you can get your hands on and ask alot of questions from very knowledgeable people. I loved hearing stories from my elders (grandparents, uncles, aunties, etc.) Their stories have great lessons wrapped inside.
