Richard Clayderman -- the white bread, the Velveeta cheese, the Boone's Farm, the cotton candy of the piano world?
Have you ever tried listening to some real music? If you like beautiful piano music, try listening to the Brahms solo piano works, or come Chopin Nocturnes, maybe some Ravel. I especially like his "Jeux d'Eaux". It has nuances, subtleties, depth and scope.
BTW, this is the classical section -- Clayderman simply does not qualify.
