Warren Buffet's Bershire-Hathaway. It's given its shareholders a 25%+ annual return for the last 25 years. Wal-mart and Microsoft are all well and good, but the largest ROIs to be had from them have already been had.

If we are determining this by looking at the World's Largest Companies, according to the Fortune Global 500; I'd have to say Wal-Mart. I am basing this on their last three years of reported revenues and profits.
In 2005 = Revenues ($ millions) Profits ($ millions)
1 Wal-Mart Stores 287,989.0 10,267.0
2006
2 Wal-Mart Stores 315,654.0 11,231.0
2007
1 Wal-Mart Stores 351,139.0 11,284.0
