Gonzolas testified before Congress that his meeting wiith eight representatives was not about the Bush spying program on American citizens. He was given a chance to clarify it and repeated it was about "something else". His Spokesman stated he now tands by his statement.
Not only have the eight Congresmen attending the meeting contradicted him, but a document has emerged from the administration itself that clearly proves he commited purjery. As the JOD has become paralized and incapable of functioning becuase it is loaded with religious freaks from loony bin U should we get a Special Prosecutor appointed to take hin before a Grand Jury. .

I wonder if I might hear from defenders of Gonzales. At this point his culpability is so obvious that it is getting boring.

Leave that to our representatives. THEY know what they are doing.

I won't defend him. Nor will I prosecute him. You mistake me for someone with your values.

I will wait until he is tried and then act accordingly.

"Guilty until proved innocent" is not my bag. It seems to be yours.

Now you demonstrate your love of religious freedom.

If he "clearly committed perjury, they'll prove it. If he did, I hope they do prove it. If he didn't, will we see you here on Yahoo! apologizing for condemning him? Or is it really not about that at all. Is it really about your hatred for half of the United States? From the constant emails (I've kept them) I get from you, you really hate the Republicans with a vitriol I haven't seen in a while.

I suppose that means I shouldn't expect you to treat our representatives with any respect.

That's what people with the same set of ethics did to Former President Clinton. Sedition, name-calling, rumor mongering, "guilty until proved innocent". It was wrong then, it's wrong now.

You've chosen some really lousy company.

This is further testament that in politics its not really what you do, but what you say you did when questioned, that gets you into trouble.
Some of these people probably would get a pass if they would just tell the truth. Maybe not in this case but some.

The man has certainly painted himself into a corner with his "memory problems" and his "corrections." I'm surprised that a special prosecutor hasn't been appointed now.
