Rats are born survivors and they will leave the flooded drains and take refuge elsewhere. The rat population will thrive on the rubbish that is strewn around the previously flooded areas as the waters subside and sightings are likely to increase in those areas.

With all the rubbish left on the streets because councils think it clever only to collect once a fortnight (YUK! !) AND all the recent flooding causing raw sewage and everything else to be deposited everywhere, the rat population will think it's Christmas and their birthday all rolled into one ! ! !
