Really? Putting all of the different M&M varieties aside; Does a yellow M&M taste different from a green M&M? Or, do we just perfer favorite colors? Does "red" really have a distinctive flavor? Or "brown" for that matter?

M&M's are a very simple candy. First the chocolate is made. The chocolate, after being molded, is covered in a top secret candy coating. After that step the bit-size candy piece is simply covered in a color that does not consist of any flavor what so ever.

They all have the same taste to them. I would probably buy the colorful ones before I would by the milk chocolate ones just because they are colorful.

Ok, I think they do. Some of them taste slightly different. The red ones especially taste different to me. But of course as a cat, I'm not supposed to eat chocolate at all.... ;)

Ya know, I don't think the current M&Ms taste any different by color, but back when they made tan ones, I coulda sworn they tasted different.

I'm not sure on this one. One of my friends can be blindfolded and fed an M&M and she can tell you what color it is. I don't know how she does it. They all taste the same to me.

i really dont think so. like why do they come out with new colors all the time, when really they'll just end up tasting like the original. or just because theres pirates of the caribbian you should buy it. [[but i absolutely LOVE there commericals.]]
