better a dead rat then a live one....it's not bad luck at all.....

No~I've Found Dead Birds & Rodents On My Porch From Where The Cat Has Brought Them Up & Left Them~It's Their Way Of Giving You A Gift~A Gross One But A Gift From Them~

It will be worse luck if the cat brought it in alive and it was running about the place, like for instance one my own cats did once.

That is actually a gift. Cats do that because they think they are "feeding" you by providing food for you. That is a cat's way of saying it likes you. It isn't a death threat or anything.....sleep safe. ;)

Not if it's a rabbits head. Rabbit's heads are good luck. Same with murderers. If you find a murderers head, that's a lifetime of good luck.

Our cat is a great mouser.... she gets them all, and then offers them to us by hiding them in places we would least expect, but she knows we will eventually look. Another time my dog killed a skunk and brought it to the back door... now THAT is bad luck.

I don't guess so my cat does the same thing with birds and mice.

Just as long as there is not a horse's head in your bed I say you are okay.

I don't know about bad luck, but I wouldn't want to clean your carpet (or your cat)!
