Is The 3D Gamemaker a good program?

Im currently using GameMaker, but its limited by graphics. I want a program to make 3d games and I want to know if its a great program before I buy.

I know they use GameMaker to teach video game programming at my school. I've also seen some 3D games around, so I guess they're using it for something. I'm not sure because game programming is not my focus. Just give it a try . . . it can't be that expensive can it? I wish I could tell you how many times I've bought programs and ebooks that failed to meet my expectations. The only way to know sometimes is to try. Good luck!
