This is my opinion:

Money is required definitely ,in present day, for one own livelihood, for looking after family, to take care of dependent parents and children, their medical needs, social needs and educational needs.
You have to provide food ,clothing and shelter and good hygienic conditions for all.Money is a must for all these things.

Every individual has his own responsibilities as stated above.And he will have to feed the Saints that come to his home for food.
So he can .he can only , estimate ,what amount is required to meet all these needs that are essential and ,and he is obliged to discharge to(Here he may be taken for she also)

So The person knows and he is rightfully entitled to acquire that amount, taking the future needs of education of children,medical needs of all family members.,and he can acquire that amount in a DHARMIC WAY.

That amount is the required amount to him.Any single paisa above it is not required and it is TOO MUCH amount in his case.
So you can not put certain amount and say , this is the limit.Every one knows THAT LIMIT.Beyond that even a copper coin is TOO MUCH.
