Hi. I'm a guy and I like to scrapbook. I mostly make scrapbooks of family vacations with my wife and son. My next scrapbook is our wedding. I go to the crop nights at my local scrapbook stores and I am usually the only guy there. Any other male scrappers out there?

Thanks for the answers so far. Just so everyone knows, I'm not worried about it. It doesn't bother me what other people think. I've had nothing but good experiences when I'm scrapping with the gals.

Scrapbook For Men

Yep - real men choose their own hobbies and interests and don't get swayed by other's opinions.

Do go here:
http://twopeasinabucket.kaboose.com/default.asp - this is the most popular scrapbooking site on the net. Ask you question on the forum there and you will find some other guys who scrapbook. The percentage is low compared to women who scrap, but scrappy guys are out there!!

Do real men cook? Yes, they do. My husband does!! My husband & I are both creative in uniquely different ways. He cooks while, I scrap.

Do Real Men Scrapbook? Yes, there are more men doing it these days & they do a good job at it. I see men @
Deco-Pages & Other 4um's & I see men designers for scrapbook layouts. In some places they are few, while in other places their are a lot of them. I believe it is becomming more common for men to scrapbook.

So, enjoy your creativity!!

I was a photojournalist in the Army and have a lot of experience in page layout. Also I enjoy history so scrapbooking with my wife allows me to utilize my photography and layout skills while my wife provides the glitz. We just finished completing a 80 page album for our daughter's wedding. So I would encourage any guy who loves history to give scrapbooking a try.

Anyone who values their memories can scrapbook. It's a great creative outlet for both sexes. For the record my husband also likes to scrapbook.

I don't but that don't mean anything. I hunt, ATV, motorcycle make candles, sew, cook. Hobby's aren't a guy or a girl thing, it's what ever you find interesting. Actually I might have to check into starting scrapbooking sounds kind of interesting. I can do some of my other hobbys.

You are not alone! Both and hubby and brother have been scrapbooking for over three years. They sometimes accompany me to crops where they are the only men there.

Yes. And real men also sew.
There is nothing wrong with a crafty male.
I am female, by the way...but I weld (heliarc, acetalene, tack)
and can change my own oil and check fluids in my 4x4 truck. And I craft, and garden, and sew. And build birdhouses...and have a tool crib you would die for! LOL.
Enjoy your art...and your photography. And your group of friends. (And the girls...LOL.). I wish I had a guy next to me good with a glue stick. Hee hee. Most of my friends don't understand my art.
