My husband doesnt really care what I watch. He may not like a lot of what I watch, but there are times when he is busy doing something else and I want to watch something whether it is Lifetime or any other channel. Unless it is the news, a poker tournament or some other sporting event, we take turns choosing programs and sometimes we watch the same thing, for example; CSI, or a certain movie. I myself am not partial to mushy or women's femnist type movies.
As far as you saying teaching women to not stand up to their husband and Obeying them, you must be crazy! Women are not property, and this is not what marriage is all about. Marraige is a lifetime commitment to each other. It is a working loving relatonship that both partners have to commit to. The last time someone tryed to tell me what to do, I left and never went back. My husband likes that I am independent and can support myself but still need him to protect me and I support and would protect him as well. T.V. is only entertainment and or escape at best and I don['t take anything I see very seriously at all. Women need to learn that it is ok to say what they want and to stand up for what they believe, and no man, husband or not should control them or what they can or can not do.

Ah, so you agree that men should be allowed to be abusive to their wives and girlfriends and families? That these women should not be allowed to stand up for themselves? I'm afraid you are the weaker sex if you cannot open your eyes to see the injustices in the world and that it is the right thing for women to be in charge of their own lives and bodies, to have the right to avoid being harmed. I feel sorry for you.

I agree and I don't let my husband watch the Men's channel, it teaches him the wrong things. So we watch TLC's What not to Wear...I am hoping some fashion tips will rub off on him....

My husband is burried next to Strawberry Blonde's.
I saw this thing on Lifetime where all the wives off-ed their sexist spouses.

I don't get the lifetime channel so I have no idea what type of programs are on there. Though I doubt that any of my tv program viewing would be disallowed/
