He's hanging on to his job by the skin of his teeth. Most Iranians don't like him or his politics. And, somebody should show him how to tie a tie!

Jugdging by the answers you Americans have given, you are obsessed with with affairs of other countries. We dont give a damn what you think of the Iranian president. Concentrate on your own president who is a war monger and a shameless liar.A moron like Bush is a very serious threat to the whole world and this also reflects on the moral and mentality of the people who elected him.Bush is the worst dictator in the world, along with his "his poodles" in Europe. I pray for the day that Ahmadinejad is buried under a ton of rubble after a U.S. B-52 strike. The faster this man dies, the safer the world will be.

He's the president that his people wanted -- that's why he was elected.
Prior to 2004, Iran had a progressive, pro-western govt.
Then the US invaded the two countries on either side of them (Iraq and Afghanistan) and the Iranian people demanded a hard-line leader who would protect them from the foreign threat at all costs, and regardless of how the world viewed things.
That's what they got -- exactly what we created by our actions.

well i hear he's unpopular at home with the young because he supports traditional values. i don't blame him for exploring nuclear power, the oil will run out one day. i don't blame him for wanted a-bombs. there's really nothing keeping exxon and the saudis from ordering bush to take his oil too.
