Selling POLECATS?

Question

i have visited this website in the uk.
they have ferrets for sale, and other things.
i found POLECATS FOR SALE, ALOT OF THEM!
is it true they sell polecats in the united kingdom? they look just like a sable ferret, but they say POLECAT on the ones that are sable. are they really selling polecats? or just sable ferrets?

i donr know how people say that a polecat is POSSIBLY related to a ferret, THEY ARE EXACTLY THE SAME! ISNT THAT WHY THE SABLE COLORED FERRET IS THE MOST COMMON COLOR?
are they really selling polecats? a polecat and sable ferret look exactly the same. IM THINK THEYRE EXACTLY THE SAME KINDA ANIMAL!

Polecats are wildlife, the wild form of ferrets. Ferrets are domesticated and can be sold, the actual Polecats can't be. However there are Polecat/Ferret hybrids (not really desireable, they're too wild, but are sometimes used for rabbit hunting) which can be sold, but they don't make good pets. The wild polecats can't be handled very well since they're not domesticated (and their bone structure is different from the domestic version so there is a difference physically as well--even if it is inside).

I'd suspect that they're actually sable ferrets.

They are not the same. A polecat is to a pet ferret as a wolf is to a dog. Polecats are wild and it would be very stupid to think of owning one.
