I don't think it's more popular. I think we just see and hear about it more often because of the advances in media.

There's always been adultery throughout history, but it probably wasn't spoken about and kept behind closed doors.
With the internet, I personally think people have more options when it comes to adultery because the technology has made it so they can meet and interact with pretty much anyone.

I'm wondering three things: Is it just more accessible because of the Internet? Cheaters are able to find cheaters kind of a thing; Is it just more "acceptable" because we see it so much in the media?; or, is it actually about the same but it's just more talked about and it's not just ignored, like it used to be.

I think that cheating has been made even easier with cell phones, text messaging, internet, ims, my space...etc. There are so many more ways to hide what you are doing from your spouse nowdays.
I'm not saying all of those things are necessarily bad in and of themselves, but I really believe if someone has a thought of being unfaithful, those things make it easier.

its always been popular.....and the media dont make it any better with all the celebrities getting married and divorcing like 3 hours later....people take marriage as a joke and are going to have to take it up with god on that one.

adultry has been round forever just people didnt talk bout it then or ghet divorced because of it. wasnt the proper thing to do

people are braver and less inhibited and most importantly have lost sight of valuing marriage... they have lost their morals- if they ever had ant yo begin with-- the world is worse than it was 15 yrs ago and will continue to get worse... mark my words...
