Back in the 70s, Alice was my idol as a teenager and down the years, thru the good and bad (mostly good) he still is one of my all time favourites. He roared back to life with his Brutal Planet which I rate as one of his all time best albums. He has influenced many down the years.

If Alice and David Bowie ever had a child, he'd be Marilyn Manson.

Great artist, timeless, influenced everyone....we don't need freakin' Marilyn Manson, we got Alice!!! It wasn't just theatrics and shock value, the music is awesome....

I've seen Alice in concert about 8 times, growing up in the Cleveland area (THE home of Rock n Roll) it seemes he was playin' there every other week!! And we always went!!!
Road trip...alice is in town!!

He has a great radio show, I hear it piped into Detroit..

Huge fan of Alice here! I love "Hey Stoopid". He recorded it with Ozzy and Slash.Alice's father was actually a methodist minister, and Alice was a teacher.Kind of ironic he would write a song called "School's Out"

Been a fan since Pretties for you. Still have my original vinyl copy in a Ziploc bag. ( keep all my vinyl in them ) Never got to see him live though. Probably will finally get to go in Sept.
I have read and listened to comments from many other rockers who give him much more credit than the "critics". Even Bob Dylan called him the most underrated song writer in Rock 'n Roll. Weird huh?
When my daughter was about 15 I gave her my Welcome to my nightmare CD to listen to. She brought it back and said "that can never be played on my CD player again, it caused me permanent psychological harm " She was talking about the song Steven. But I notice she has School's out on her iPod.
