yes. the entire paper. there is something a person can enjoy about a paper you cannot get from the internet a sense of solidity and the print does not need to be adjusted. when it is being read a person takes time to think about what is said .no click then next subject. there is meat on the bones of articles. the internet is impersonal no feeling of connection the photos look more artificial. when writing something for a paper or in one a person has to think carefully before they write something there is no anoynimity your name is there unlike other parts of the internet. you cannot just say hurtfull things without receiving a reply or being corrected or someone knowing who you are. editorials that is. same can be said for blogs and internet but is seen as impersonnel a computer thing not something written by a real person to a real person.with print a person says do i really want my name in print. there are other things though which are not so good the cartoons cross the line between humour and being mean. Beetle Baily for example a recent comic strip made fun of the capacity of someone to type and hinted that there was something wrong with their brain because of that capacity. think that is going to far and the makers of the strip should not be allowed to continue either in print or on the internet with that attitude. this has not been the first time either. there is also a character named Zero who has been made fun of because of the perceived intelligence of that character. seems to be a lack of sensitivity on the part of humans these daysthey seem to be very mean spirited .

I have found that in the newspapers they give a lot of background information on the topic. They tell you the history of a certain thing in the story in the article a lot of times.

They almost NEVER do that on the brief stories they do on TV.

Also they cover so many more stories than they ever do on TV, especially international stories.

A lot of people could benefit from reading a paper all the way through everyday for like six months in a row. I think they would be a lot better informed and it might go a little way toward improving the world's opinion of "dumb" Americans.

I do. Every morning. It's good for fleshing out the "details" of the News from the day before. But alas!- It's newsprint days may be numbered... People want news "bites"- NOT indepth reporting... And READING seems to be going out of "style"- also. I'm just hoping that books like the Harry Potter series- interest enough kids to keep them INTERESTED in reading. Otherwise- Newspapers are going to go the way of the "LP".

No, it's a dinosaur from the 1920's. I get the newspaper all the time, and when I do sit down and read it, I'm reading yesterdays news. With the 24 hour networks on cable, the Internet, news papers now a days are only good for potty training puppy's.

Yes, I read it. I liked to read the editorals. Local news, not all, but skim thru it. I work the puzzle where you pick out the words.
