Dude!!! All my friends bring their cars to my house to get work done.....brakes, oil change, tune ups, battery, rotate tires!! You'd think I got my own mechanic shop and I'm a plumber!!! That's another thing.....I always get calls from friends. "Can you come look at my faucet?" AAAAAAAAAAaaaHHHHHHHHHH I dont mind though but sometimes I just want some time to myself!!!!!

There are many people who can fix things, may not be as many as you do.However, most find no time or inclination
for it and quite a few are outright selfish and mean. They don't want to provide free service or favors. On the other side, there are people and more people who are free-loaders and always looking for to find and catch somebody to do chores for them in return for just thanks,a cup of coffee or a pat on the back.W ell, that leaves a few people like you to be on the scene.Carry on as long as you can, but let it not detract you from your main job or concern.

I'm with ya garfield. I hate to even think someone else might even try to fix my stuff. If I can't fix it or do it, I get crazy sorta and start calling experts and picking their brains. Yeah, I get roped into fixing other people's stuff as a result. That kinda sucks sometimes

I've also made the mistake of letting the wrong people know that I know how to fix cars and whatnot. Don't you love it when they act like you should just do it in a jiffy for free just cause you know how? Now I just play dumb.

There are engineers in my family who cannot operate the coffee maker. Be glad you are gifted with a great mind, patience and nimble fingers. I get all kinds of neat appliances and gadgets because people don't know how to use or maintain them. Best of luck to you! Make them take a number for your services.

No. I feel your pain! It seems like just when I get something fixed and taken care of it's onto the next problem! Then you have a fit and get over it. It's okay, there, there. Would you like a hug?

If you don't break anything, then you wouldn't have to fix anything, ya know??? Maybe other people break their stuff cuz they know that you'll fix it for them!! Break something of theirs and see if they bring it to you to fix!!

You also did not mention that you are the one breaking them so we really had to practise tough love and get you to mend the error of your ways!
