Louisianna has a good film community, and I assume there is a healthy theater community as well.
The film industry was really strong in New orleans, but lots of work has shifted to Baton Rouge (and Shreveport) since Katrina.
Even if you are interested in film, "theater" classes are a good place to get a background in acting.
When shopping for a good class, do lots of research. There are lots of expensive programs that are no good, and cheap programs that are great. In Dallas, where I live, one of the best local programs is at a community college.
Call some local theaters and ask for class reccomendations. If you have any actor friends or teachers, ask them for suggestions, too.

You will not find quality acting training in Baton Rouge. You need to be in a larger city.

Try looking it up on Yellow Pages, and type in Acting Studios that should work. But I doubt that there is any acting training in BA, Lousaina.
