Abt a month back I received an e-mail stating that I was the winner of the above mentioned lottery.they asked me to contact WoolWich Bank PLC ,London to claim the amount .they bank asked me to pay some pounds as transction fees .Is it true? How can I verify their claim?Did yahoo(uk& ireland)ever conduct a lottery among their e-mail users?

No, this is a scam, you should never have to pay to win something.

Its a spam. Run a search on google with the subject and will show in detail the scam

It is just a spam. Yahoo does not conduct any lotteries.

Plz don't respond to any of these mails. Just ignore them.

no way its true, its a complete fake, i have the proof that its a fake... all they want is just the money u pay as transaction fees or etc.. don't get into these bluffs....
