Worrying runs in my family - I worry about a lot of silly things. For example, if I can't get ahold of someone, I think the worst, or I worry that I forgot to do something. For me, the worst of it was a phase - I still worry, but not nearly as bad. I never was to the extent you are, though. I agree that you should get some professional help, but also, I believe that Jesus can help you if you would ask Him to. You said that you have no peace - Jesus provides so much peace!!! It's an amazing peace that can't be explained. I encourage you to talk to a pastor or youth leader or christian friend too. God bless!

I agree you do need to see a therapist to get on the right meds. Before I was put on the right meds my mind did not stop thinking about silly things that made me worry. I would worry that everyone in my family was going to die. That I was going to die in some awful way that I was unaware of. I had this awful fear inside that I didn't know where it came from. It just was uncontrollable.

Blah blah blah, yes having a spiritual side helps too but sometimes it even stresses you out even more. Especially if you are not feeling unstressed. You will stress that you are not doing enough faithfully, or praying enough, going to church enough, etc. I totally understand what you are feeling.

Go seek a therapist or even your Primary Doctor as soon as you can. You may just need anti-anxiety medication due to a high level of anxiety. It may be something else but whatever it is... Just know the doctors are there to help. Make sure you talk to them openly. Do not hide ANYTHING. Talk about anything even if you don't know what is bothering you... just talk and things will eventually come out.

I take anxiety medication, sleeping medication because without it I would not sleep for days, antidepressants etc.

Good luck and hope the best for you!

You need to take a deep breath!!! Calm yourself and breath!!! There are a lot of forums online that you can be a part of that will help you not feel so along. Just do a search and find one that you would like. You may want to think about seeing a therapist or counselor. Good luck!!!

I think it could really help for you to talk to a mental health professional. It sounds like it could be that you are suffering from generalized anxiety..which is a common disorder and is treatable. It could be something else...depression, or obsessive-compulsive disorder...or, none of the above. If you are suffering, and it sounds like you are, then you need to talk to someone who can help you. You could also look up "anxiety disorders" on the internet, and see if what you're experiencing sounds similar. If it does, read up on available treatments. There should be advice on how to proceed. Worrying excessively is a symptom of anxiety. There is help for it, so talk to a therapist...good luck!

Calm down, take a deep breath, and close your eyes. Relax. Don't worry too much about life. If it happens, it happens. For better or for worse.
