I read some time ago that pregnant women (not suffering carbon monoxide poisoning ) treated in a decompression chamber during the period of foetal brain development might be able to increase the childs intelligence by increasing the oxygen available to baby. Never heard any more has any one else knowledge of this?

There are all sorts of fanciful theories about how to make better babies. Anyway, I would call what you are talking about a COMPRESSION chamber, unless you plan to adjust the O-N ratio.

not a lot of extra space for more myelin or dendrites in the skull, unless all the tissue grew in which case you would birth a giant. anyways once it came back into the earths' atmosphere it would have a serious lack of oxygen and the extra tissue would die
