im 15, 5'11, and 135 pounds. what are some ways to lose weight??

i get enough exercise as i am in a ballet company and dance for over 3 hours a day.

how many calories should i eat in a day??

any other tips?? thanks :)

Ok, with that hieght you do not need to lose any weight and since you do ballet you probably have a lot of muscle which weighs more than fat but is good for you. I would say anything between 1600 and 1800 is a normal calorie intake. The only tip I have is to keep up with the ballet. That will keep you very fit.

At 5'11 and 135, the last thing you need to do is lose weight. You should be eating NO LESS than 2200 calories a day to stay healthy and strong for dance. You should check out http://www.mypyramid.gov and talk to your doctor as well.

The dance industry puts horrible pressure on dancers to be thin. You may be heavier to lift than other dancers simply because you are so tall, but unless you want to damage your health, you should absolutely not be losing weight.

Focus on eating healthy food, not junk, but do not restrict your calories below 2000 for the kind of exercise you're doing. Your body will turn on itself and you will harm yourself in the long run.

Sounds like you don't need to lose weight to me. I'm 5'6" and when I was 135 before getting pregnant with my last baby I looked good and didn't need to lose any... And you are 5 inches taller!

Are you on drugs or just that extremely self conscience? If you think that your over weight at only 135 and being as tall as you are......what the hell is stopping you from bulimia? Seriously reevaluate your sense of self!

um....like seriously...you dont need to loose weight. your tall so thats gona add weight. and if you dance for 3 hours a day then thats like a work out and keepsyou fit. as for calories.....i dont count them. i just eat healthy stuff instead of junky stuff. like if you want chips, theeat a carrot. they're both crunchy. lol.

Morning walk is the best exercise to reduce weight... Go foe walk at least 5 times a week for more than 30 mins.
