Would you rather die peacefully or in 'blaze of glory'?

For me, I want to be remembered. Dying in my sleep as some old person would seem like a terrible end to a life that has been anything but ordinary. I want to die doing something for the good of man...doing something worth while. I want my life to count for something.

So....

peacefully, painlessly

or

in a blaze of glory

?????

Now, you might be wondering why I would even suggest that someone can affect the manner and style of his death. Well, it's because of a mysterious and little-known stage of dying, the two-minute warning. Most people are not aware of it, but it does exist. Just as in football, two minutes before you die you receive an audible warning: "Two minutes! Get your s h i t together!" And the reason most people don't know about it is because the only ones who hear it are dead two minutes later. They never get a chance to tell us.

But such a warning does exist, and I suggest that when it comes, you use your two minutes to entertain and go out big. If nothing else, deliver a two-minute speech. Pick a subject you feel passionate about, and just start talking. Begin low-key, but, with mounting passion, build to a rousing climax. Finally, in the last few seconds, scream at those around you, "If these words are not the truth, may God strike me dead!" He will. Then simply slump forward and fall to the floor. Believe me, from that moment on, people will pay more attention to you.

Or after i get the warning i would run into a busy crowded place, sing a stupid song or do a stupid dance. then jump into someone's arms and have a seizure, if i'm still alive i would say thank you to everybody around me then blow myself up.

BLAZE OF FREAKING GLORY.

anything less would be so, uh, so UNSATISFYING.

but,

it is unlikely that I will die in a blaze of glory. I have few opportunities for heroism, no desire to assasinate prominent politicians, so I'll likely die in a hospital with a tube down my throat and wondering what comes next.

Having had several failed attempts at going out in a blaze of glory (not my choice I might add), I'll now settle for in my sleep of old age....lol

When I die, I want to go like my grandpa, in his sleep, not screaming like the passengers in his car!
