Some people look at the avatars/pictures, then answer. Some may just randomly pick a question. and Others will just go down the line and answer. So, how do you choose?

Well, when I first get on Y! Answers I start off in Polls & Surveys, because that's my favorite category. Once I'm there I scroll down the page until I find the Question that interests me most. I generally only choose questions that I can give a pretty good answer too. I know the answer to a lot of questions out there but in order for me to answer that question I have to really understand what I'm saying and if I don't then I won't answer the question. I never go to the 2nd page or 3rd page, I stay on the 1st page and refresh it now and then for the updated questions.
After awhile of being in Polls & Surveys I go around to other topics and answer a few questions and then sign out, same process for each category.

Most of the time I answer questions related to my interests. Or I just randomly pick questions that I have a good or funny answer to.

Random. If it is something I actually know about and feel qualified to give advice, something I could be creative and have a little fun with, or a quick survey question. I skip the ones in poor taste, would take too much time to answer, or that I haven't a clue about.

For me the avatars have nothing to do with it. I usually go down the line and answer the question as thoughtfully as I can.

I try to answer the ones that I know the answers to! So, I guess I go down the line and pick.

I treat it the same as I would if a real person asked me a
question, except if I don't know a good answer I usually don't give one, unless I have a funny comment.
I try and answer questions about LGBT, because of being gay all my life, but I noticed on Yahoo Answers after you answer a LGBT question the further questions on the bottom take you to "Religion and Spirituality", instead of 4 more LGBT questions.
I also try to answer questions about "tickling", because of being horribly ticklish, and a "tickle torture victim" all my life.

i usually go by the question not the avatar. if it seems like a funny or intriguing question or some thing i might know about to help some one

I pick questions that look interesting, or if it looks like I might have an opinion or answer for it.

Well, I see if it looks interesting and if I know how to answer it. I don't pay attention to the avatars often.

I read the questions. If its a Avitar game im in:) I just choose what question I think I could answer:)
