Does anyone else find it funny how the BB houseguests talk about the internet viewers of the show as if they are "crazy" people, but the people in the house actually have much more knowledge of previous BB years than any of us?
They talk about things that happened in previous years that I dont ever remember happening, but they will know exactly what the other is talking about as if is was matter-of-fact..when in fact, the only way to know all the details they know about previous years would be online.
The house must have a way of making you forget how it is in the real world.

i'm loving this show. first season i've watched all the way through.
I love when Eric (America's Player) had to vandalize Jen's things: "I'm just tickled that the rest of America feels the same way about Jen that the house does." SO true. I hate Jen lol.

If you had the chance to be on the show, it seems normal to do research on what has already happened. You'd want to be as informed about the game as possible. What has worked, what hasn't. What the winner did to make it to the end. A lot is based on winning the "veto" or being the HOH. The rest is based on "tricking" others in to trusting them.
Understanding some previously used strategies could be helpful. For example: how to "back door" a player who seems to win every veto could be helpful. No point in coming up with something that has already been done.
A smart players would research before going into the house.

Actually they are not that smart but they are definitely students of the game. Dick admitted that he hardly remembers some of the players from years gone by. On the other hand he does remember many of the best players and what made them great. I don't think you have to go on the internet to look most of that up if you watched the show closely in the past. I think a lot of thepeople pretend to know what the correct answer is just to learn.

You make a very good point lol never thought of that. I think it's cute they talk about the net people after all they are the one's for the most part that applied and accepted being watched by us!

I think it is amazing how much they know. I heard Dick say when he thought he might be coming on the show that he read all the transcripts of the other seasons. That is weirder than watching it live.

During the casting stage, the contestants research all the old seasons which is why they are so familiar with them and fresh in their memory.

Yes,that is odd.And you are right,they have more knowledge of BB than most ppl do.
