Yes. There are:
- Springfield Cardinals, of the AA Texas League
- St. Joe Blacksnakes, of the independent American Association
- River City Rascals, of the independent Frontier League
- Kansas City T-Bones, of the independent Northern League (well, they're not technically in Missouri, but they're close enough)

I don't think so. The only good minor league team in Missouri is the Springfield Cardinals (Double A affiliate for St. Louis).
