There are so many men online who are chauvinstic, and it is disgusting. When will thay learn that women are just as capable as men and we can do everything that they can do? A list of famous women who did just as much as men:
Harriet Tubman- conductor of the underground railroad
Amelia Earhart- first woman pilot
Susan B. Anthony- Civil Rights Activist
Sacajawea- Guide for Lewis and Clarke
Corrie Ten Boom- Christian Missionary
What about all the powerful positions women are in today? We are doctors, lawyers, teachers, police offers, military officers, firefighters, mechanics, truckdrivers, construction crew. How dare people tell us we should have to reamin at home and breed children. If a woman feels that is what she wants to do in life, let it be her choice, but let women have freedom to what they want to do. Let us have a quality education, let us be professionals. Don't make us subserviant to men. We are just as good as they are! Thank You to the men who are not like this!

It isn't that chauvinistic men think women aren't capable. That's just a stratagem. It goes deeper than a man feeling he is superior to women. I feel that men who want women to be subservient actually do it because men are lazy. With women "out of the way", men will only have to use a very small portion of their brain power, and the man will have to work less because the woman is at home doing all of the work. In order words, he lifts himself up by holding someone else down.
(I am not referring to the large majority of good men in this world. I am referring to the men who lack self-esteem.)

Women deserve equality and respect. And I know that you have to earn respect, but women do that every day. We have to work twice as hard at a job just to be seen as an equal to men. Plenty of women balance a full social life, being a maid and cook at home, being a friend, mother and teacher to their children, being a psychologist and cheerleader for their husband on top of their full time careers. And they do it beautifully. So why can't some men see that we women at the very least deserve their respect?

yep, i concur! but it bothers me even more when women back up chauvinistic men. for example at my work women don't support Hilary Clinton because women have PMS....
