hmm... I say 25, after the person has graduated from college and has a career, they shouldn't be at home with mom and dad anymore.
If they don't go to college, and don't have a career, I still would say 25 because they need to live on their own.

It depends on your situation. I was on my own at 18 and later moved back at the request of my aging parents. I have the option to buy their property and I am their to help my aging father. It isn't always a bad thing.

I would say 21 and older..my oldest moved out when he was 18 tho..it does depend on the parents and the children.. everyone is different...good luck to you :)

Honestly, I moved out when I was relatively young, but I would say you should have lived on your own by mid twenties.
