I think it's more a fool's paradise than a valuable tool. I've already convinced myself many times that a lot of information there is wrong or dated and I've also seen a lot of obvious vandalism staying on-line for two or three weeks. I'm trying not to use Wikipedia when I really want to learn something.

In my experience, it has been a valuable source of knowledge. And I realize it's not always right--it's just a good quick starting point for learning some things. If you want to know for sure, you have to use more reliable sources. But it often is dead-on right, I have found.

have a good nite! ;)

People still ask the same question about computers and the answer is the same - depends on how you use it.
