"African-American" and "Black?" You must really be old! "African America" was first being used in the early 1990s. If the phrase were a person, it would be old enough to drive, and possibly old enough to vote.

If you're confused by these name changes, how are you able to figure out how to "Surf the Internet," or "Use the World Wide Web?"

Do you go to "the McDonald's" and order a medium coffee with your "Hamburger Sandwich," and "French Fried Potatoes?" Are you wondering why everyone likes the "Dough-naughts," and why you can't find a decent strudel?

Anyways, people do change how they refer to themselves. Hope it doesn't confuse you too much.

The PC crowd is disparate for a little control. I don't buy into it and I won't participate in telling my neighbors what they should be called.
