I'm not sure how much Crack you have been smoking, but GENDER has absolutely no bearing on Guilt or Innocence...
IF they did the crime, then they should pay the time ;);)

What, all 3 of them did the crime, actively participated in the crime so they all should be charged. They all had an equal part so yes they all should get an equal sentence.
Now isnt that a bit harsh to say the girls should get off and the boy should go to jail for life. That punishment doesnt even fit the crime.
I should ask my mother in law about this case, she never mentioned it to me (we are from Buffalo). Maybe I will read the Buffalo News this seems interesting.
Take care

I don't think it's unfair that they are charging the girls at all. They must have some evidence to show that they were participating in the vandalism, otherwise they wouldn't have charged them with the crime. If girls never do that sort of stuff, why were they there, after all? There's no logic in your argument that girls never do that sort of stuff. Girls are certainly as capable of committing hate crimes as boys are.

Just because they are girls doesn't mean they should get special treatment. You said girls never do that? Well now you know that girls do, so I don't see your point. SO...if a girl steals, murders, rapes or does any other crime should she be let off? Sounds very sexist to me. ALL of them should be charged at the full extent of the law. If they didn't want to do it then they wouldn't have, but they did. Slam the book at them. It's the only way anyone will learn.

I LIVE in BUFFALO too and I'm familiar with this story. You are making a terrible generalization by saying "girls never do that sort of stuff." That's like me saying that all blondes named Jennifer from Buffalo, NY who post on Yahoo Answers are unintelligent. I'm sure you would disagree. Don't be so quick with your assumptions. If all 3 committed the crime all three should be punished in accordance with said crime.

what? that doesnt make sense to just put the boy in jail. the girls were involved in the incident too, they should both be charged for vandalism but not for life, probably like community service or put them on probation.
and girls do do that kind of stuff too,its not just the guys. i think you're being a little racist because of the male and female gender.

They should all be punished. How is the teenage supposed to be held accountable if they get away with their crimes. I did time because of the garbage I did and I am very female thank you very much, had not been held accountable, I would never have learned anything and I would probably be in the same pattern I was as a teenager. Now I am very successful person, and thanks to being held accountable, I succeed every single day in life.

Charge them all!! You do the crime, you do the time (as the saying goes). Why do the girls deserve to get off free? If they used spray paint too then they are just as guilty.

I don't think that would really be fair. If you honestly think that, then you should probably consider that girls can be just as bad-behaved as boys can. It doesn't matter the gender. You can't choose who you are born to be. Say those two girls were born boys. Would you think they should go to jail? It's wrong to think that girls should be let off the hook and boys should get in trouble for something they all did bad together.

Don't gender stereotype, if a person commits a crime they should be punished. It doesn't matter what sex or age they are. I suppose if they are mentally ill they should be required to seek treatment instead of being punished.
The crime was minor vandalism, and you want to put someone in jail for life? You need to seek counseling for your own mental illness.
Then maybe you need to re-read the teachings of Jesus about forgiveness and such; maybe you will understand it then
