I'm 14. Can i fall in love???? My mom says i cant

Anyone can fall in love.
Even teenagers.
But a lot of the time with teens they just think they love someone, when really it's not that deep. I guess it could be like that with anyone though.

Many, many times. Although like your mom suggests majority of these loves will be puppy love, I'm sure that to a 14 year old they will all seem real. I remember being 14 once upon a time and thought that some of the girls I dated I would be with forever and a day. But truth is had my heart broke many times and believe that I was also responsible for breaking a couple. But that is how we learn what the emotion of love is all about by practicing falling in love.

I am a strong believer that it's really possible to fall in love at any age. When a person is young, but mature beyond their years, and they meet someone special, I think it could really turn into love. It's rare, but possible. And don't worry, moms are supposed to say that. She doesn't wanna see you get hurt. But take your time when falling in love. Your only a kid once.

It depends on what you think love is. You can fall in love, but it is not the same kind of love as a mature love. When you are old enough to really fall in love you think of more than sex - more than awe, you think of how you are going to be together and how you are going to live and how you are going to make enough money so that you are not dependent upon other individuals. Some time young love is foolish enough to ruin all of your grown-up life.

now i thought i would never say this but "dont listen to your mom" haha okay so im repeating what most people said. seriously anyone at any age can fall in love anywhere at anytime. obviously a 2 year old cant fall in love but you sorta get the idea right? youll know when you've fallen in love or not (:

I don't think your mother was trying to hurt your feelings by saying that. I think she was trying to say at age 14, it is more of a infatuation thing more than a love thing. -It is often referred to as "Puppy Love". I remember those days. It was so innocent. -That's all.
Later on when you are older you will fall in love, and it will be great! -Don't try to grow up too fast. Enjoy being young.

Sure you can...i think age does not matter that much but of course you cannot fall in love if you are 8 years old.

ya thatz true that your age is little less to fall in love as right now at this age girls get many crushes as they juz go physically and have a craze for physical pleasure...the mind does not settle on one person but there can be 2 per cent cases when there is true love but this is the age to njy ur life n not to get stick into responsibilities so itz better to be in our limits n keep a healthy relationship wth boys...because at this age gals will flow away wth the emotions n most of the time they get hurted so much that they cannot even tell it to nybdy so please THIS IS NOT THAT AGE IF U LIKE A PERSON KEEP IN RELATIONSHIP...U CAN ALWAYS WAIT FOR THT D-DAY TO COME....

you are not capable of true love at this age, not that you are not able to have feelings of love, you are. True love comes with the maturity you will gain through more experiences with people, don't give up! in a couple of years you will know exactly what I mean by this. I hope I haven't confused you more than you were before

your mom just does not want you to. Anyone can fall in love at any age. I think she just thinks your too young to know what love is.
