It took a while didn't it. They had to create a vacuum and then Al Qaeda was sucked right in. Opening a door of opportunity by authorizing persecution and an illegal, misrepresented, and mismanaged war the terrorist organization waltzed right in on the conservative scoundrel's red carpet. The lies of the disinformation groups that are paid with your tax dollars to defraud you into believing they were there is another dream of the present administration. The tyrant Saddam hated all terrorists and would have made short work of them as he was doing to the Kurds and did with the Iranians. Don't prostitute your support or recognition to these hired liars who are paid to feed you more Republican gibberish and enslave you in political ignorance..
Having said this I'm about worn out for the evening. To all those who agree, those who don't, Dems, Libs, Reps, Cons, Independents, Greens, and Libertarians as well as those I probably left out, I wish you all a good night. I've had fun as usual on Y/A.

Actually, hundreds of Saddam's advisors and top officials were shown to have had direct dealings with al-Qaeda. It was fulfilled a long time ago, before the second invasion.
Regardless, there were more than enough reasons to enter Iraq such as the attempted assassination of our President, the invasion of Kuwait, paying suicide bombers to kill Israelis, repeatedly breaking the cease-fire for a decade, etc.
In addition to Saddam being very clear on the fact that he wanted us all dead and claiming he DID have WMDs and was fooling the U.N. and U.S., up to weeks before the final invasion.

Al-Quada has been in Iraq for many number of years. Mostly to the north but they have been there as well as other countries. No I'm not saying Saddam had something to do with 9/11 I'm just stating they've been there for quite some time.

yea - and i guess other countries have cut down on buying munitions from his company and with any luck the people could regain their country at the expense of chenny's freedom and fortune - course that will be some mother load of luck.
