(31 - 6 days) * 24 hours * 60 minutes
25 days * 24 hours * 60 minutes
600 hours * 60 minutes

Multiply no of days in a month by 24 to get total no of hours in a month
Multiply the total number of hours in a month by 60 to get the total minutes in a month

Ex In July, there are 31 days

31 days x 24 hrs / day = 744 hrs

744 hrs x 60 min / hour = 44, 640 min in July

Better yet get a cellphone w/ conversion feature :-)

1 day = 24 hours
1 hour = 60 minutes

July is 31 days
So 31 days = 31*24*60 minutes
= 44,640 minutes

For a month that is n days
n days = n*24*60 minutes
= 1,440*n minutes

Multiply the number of minutes in an hour by 24, and then multiply that number by the number of days in the month. Works every time.

# of minutes in a month
= # of days in the month x 24 hours/day x 60min./hr

e. if it's 30 days in the month, then
# of minutes = 30 x 24 x 60 minutes = 43200 min
