If you had to choose between Bush Jr. or Hugo Chavez which would you prefer?

Bush, no doubt about it.
Bush took power of the greatest nation on earth (the USA of course), and made it even greater.
Without getting into politics, just remember the massive job firings in 2001 (even pre 9/11).
Now the economy is fine (not perfect) but certainly better.
Chavez found a tumbling country and is turning it into a broke country. He just was only lucky to have oil prices skyrocket during his government. Take away all the oil royalties and you get a banana republic.

W. At least bush will not kick out foreigners that speak against him in the US. Hugo is a little tin pot dictator. Unfortunately, the poor in Venezuela don't realize that when we stop importing oil, the gravy train will run out and Hugo will resort to the Iron hand instead of the velvet glove in keeping his power.
As to Derrick, absolute power corrupts absolutely. Hugo will be no different.

Hugo he nationalized everything so his people could have something. In other words: He wants to empower his people. Bush is the exact opposite, he wants to take power away from the people. I like power.
As far as power going to "Hugo", I think you'll find that mindset completely false when you examine the record. Hugo Chavez has been revolutionary since a very young age, and has almost always fought against imperialism. His implementation of Plan Bolivar 2000 alone shows his interest in the people and not himself. His 2000-2001 elections while somewhat blackened in the eye clearly expressed the political will of the Venezuelan people.
In closing, do your homework before you open your mouth.

Wait. Are we talking about the dictator or the 69 cent soda from McDonald's? 'Cause if it's the dictator, then definitely Bush.
Chavez is a corrupt and dangerous man, and his elections aren't all too free.
