If you can't eat sugar and want a healthy alternative try Zylotol or stevia, you can get these at the health food shop and neither contain aspartane. If you want to control or regulate your sugar levels try Chromium Picolinate, which you can also get from health food shop. Personally I found using a good quality high voltage colloidal silver like Serendipity for a month really put an end to my sugar cravings. Hope this helps as you were'nt specific in your question.

You learn to like fruit and vegetables and other snack food that isn't processed sugar. If you're diabetic, you learn to have cheese and beef sticks around for snacks, and limited amounts of fruit, and vegetables that aren't high sugar.

If it's specifically sugar, you learn to use honey and maple syrup. Most of the artificial sweeteners aren't that good for you. Nutrasweet is one of the worst, and it's all around. It makes you crave sweets even more, in my experience, and causes many people to have headaches... and there is considerable controversy about worse affects. So your best bet is to change your diet to avoid sugar and sweeteners.

With eating and digesting sugar?

Try an alternative sweetener.

Honey works well.

Splenda, Sweet & Low, and Equal are good substitutes as well.

Splenda is made with real sugar though.
And Sweet&Low and Equal contain aspartame which is not very healthy for you.

Have your glucose levels tested. Then if you think you are insulin intolerant get or borrow the book-the Schwarzbein principle. It is a wonderful book to help you find out what foods to eat that will help you with your problem. If you have diabetes medication and/or insulin shots may help you with a dietary and lifestyle change
