I never have been much on materialistic things in life. Those things will as anything else of that nature not mean anything
when it comes right down to it. The main thing is to like yourself, I thus far in life have been fortunate enough to raise
a family(which is a never ending job) and have pretty much a good-life or at least what I call a good life. If ya spend all your time impressing others, when will you have time for yourself and family? Have a Great Day!

My quality of life is not about impressing others, it's about being happy with me (who I am). I'm clever and fashionable, but not to the point that it consumes who I am, as I can be frumpy and happy at the same time!

There is definitely SO much more to life than impressing others or how fashionable you are. More importantly one should focus on living the best life they can, learning from life's lessons, loving and caring for oneself and mankind to the best of ones ability.knowing that I'm doing these things bring me a true happiness with my life and myself, much more so than how much I can impress my neighbor or having a prada handbag.

I'd say life is better lived by being true to yourself first and foremost...impressing others should be a byproduct of inward living, rather than a goal.

Yes, I agree with you. I dress to make myself happy and I follow fashion trends because I just like clothes really.

It's not about impressing others its about what makes you happy and content. What keeps you onthe stright and narrow. How you cope with stress. Its so many things. When you have it you know.

DEFINITELY -- Quality of Life is about HOW you live it -- how you use your talents/gifts, how you respect and treat others, how you feel about yourself ... and that is what makes a LIFE worth living!
