Do you know much about the situation?
How do you feel about the approach taken to end the war?
Are you surprised that it was allowed to come to this with past events such as Rwanda?
Did you know about Rwanda before the movie Hotel Rwanda?
Have you done anything to help? Have you wanted to, but haven't "gotten around" to it?
What do you think about the situation in general?

You don't just have to answer these questions. Feel free to say what ever you want about the situation.

I agree. If there was something in it like oil then it would have been over a long time ago. I don't think money is the issue either. When we can afford to pay people millions of dollars for playing a sport then we shouldn't have a problem. If I made that much money I would take all that I didn't absolutely need and donate it. That's great that you've done that! Keep yourself informed, I'm also glad to see someone else feels that way.

I've been paying attention to it online, because it is never mentioned in the news. I have donated money and bought Tshirts. I have also signed petitions and written letters to the state house. Not to mention try to educate people that I speak with.
I think the situation there is terrible. It bothers me so much that no one seems to care (government) to help them out. People are being tourtured and killed, and it seems like no notices, or even cares about it. If there were oil in that country, the US would be all over it. But, because there is nothing in it for them, they can't be bothered.

Thanks for asking, I felt like I was the only know who knew about it.

Just as soon as George and Dick figure out a way to make money over there like they did from Halliburton in Iraq, we'll do something about Darfur. They are too poor of a country. Bush and Cheney can't benefit from Darfur. Pathetic, isn't it?

it is so sad and very painful. i know how it feels my grate grand parents where both survivors of ARMENIAN GENOCIDE in 1915 by the hands of Ottoman Turks. Back then if any of the European countries bother to do something the Holocaust would of never happen.
you know what Adolph Hitler said who will ever remember the ARMENIANS.

The only country who physically help the ARMENIANS back then where the FRENCH people with their Navies.

so i do know how it feels.

The situation in Darfur is getting worse and some quarters are criticizing America for not doing concrete about it. It is again damn if you and damn if you don't.
